POLICY FOR BUYERS OF HOMETOWNE AUCTION LLC
- Buyer shall register at the office of Hometowne Auction for a buyer’s identification number.
- Registry consists of buyer’s company name, address, telephone number, driver’s license, and name of person(s) responsible for purchase and payment of product.
- Sales tax – Pa State sales tax is collected on all quilts and quilt related items – unless a valid Pa State Sales Tax Resale Exemption form is on file. A copy of your sales tax number certificate is helpful. Out of state buyers must file the form as an exempt out of state buyer.
- Bidder is responsible for the inspection of quality of the item offered for sale and will place their bid accordingly. All items are sold AS IS!
- Buyer shall remove from premises all product purchased on the day of sale.
- Buyer shall pay in full for all product purchased on the day of sale, unless credit terms are established from Hometowne Auction, LLC.
- Buyers shall pay with cash or approved check. Payment shall be made the day of sale as soon as auction is over. Checks dishonored by the bank shall have a fee of $35 per return.
- By registering for a bidders number the buyer agrees to the terms set forth above.

POLICY FOR SELLERS OF HOMETOWNE AUCTION LLC
- Hometowne Auction LLC reserves the right to refuse to sell any product. This is determined through the management of Hometowne Auction LLC.
- Where a clear misrepresentation of product has been made, Hometowne Auction LLC. reserves the right to withhold payment until proper restitution has been made by consignor. Management will negotiate.
- Checks will be issued in payment for product sold, less the 20% commission by Hometowne Auction LLC. for product sold. Checks will be mailed 2 to 3 days following the auction.
- Consignor assumes liability for any copyright or trademarks that may or may not be associated with the items.
- By registering for a consignor number, consignor agrees to the terms set forth above.
